The Debutante Council prepares young ladies for
presentation to society and the community at the Kosciuszko
Foundation’s
Annual Dinner and Ball. The Council, made up of ladies of Polish
ancestry or those with connections to the Kosciuszko Foundation,
invites young ladies between the ages of 16 and 25 with a background
of scholastic achievement and community service to participate
in the Ball and prepares them for their appearance through meetings
and a special luncheon. The Debutante Presentation at the Ball
is a much-anticipated event and has been a highlight of the Ball
for years, instilling in young women a sense of traditional
values, education, and conduct in sophisticated social settings.
For the Debutante, it is an exciting and elegant experience that
makes memories to last a lifetime.
