Fountain Chamber Music Society
featuring Penderecki's Clarinet Quartet
Sunday, February 3, at 3pm
Sunday's program features Penderecki's Clarinet Quartet, as well as chamber music and songs of Francaix, Hindemith, and Weill. Tickets are $30 ($25 KF members) and include a reception with the artists following the concert. The concert will be recorded for broadcast over WQXR 96.3 FM on Sunday, February 10 at 6 pm. Marcella Sembrich Anniversary Concert

Tickets for this special concert are $20
Marcella Sembrich, the great Polish soprano who came to America to sing at the newly founded New York Metropolitan Opera, will be honored in a special concert Thursday, February 28, at the Kosciuszko Foundation. Beginning at 7 PM, this 150th “birthday” concert features two soloists from the Met – Edyta Kulczak, mezzo-soprano, and Valerian Ruminski, bass – in a program of solos and duets, accompanied by concert pianist and Met coach Michael Fennelly. Information will also be available about the Foundation’s Marcella Sembrich Vocal Scholarship Competition, on Saturday, March 8. More info...
